I have found many new (to me) authors by reading books both nominated and awarded for various book awards. Would it be possible to have a system which identifies those books on the site? Would anyone else use this to "try" a previously unread author?

I was looking for somewhere to post a notice of a reading that RISI members might be interested in, but there doesn't seem to be a suitable topic heading. Would it be possible to create one? Would members be interested in having Readings drawn to their attention?

Erm, nobody wants my books, but I want theirs. How about swapping for points, then I could use those points to swap books with other users? And they could use points to swap with me, etc.
