I've just started The Payback by Simon Kernick.  Other than my book circle read and a translation challenge - which will probably be Headhunters by Jo Nesbo I don't have any other plans.

I pretty much agree with you Lisa - they're both pretty deplorable, although I do have some slight sympathy with Nick!  The ending is perfect - but the poor child! Whoever gets to play Amy in the upcoming movie will have a ball!

Oy, what a pair of flawed characters.  I'm still not sure if I like Nick...........

Have at it people!  I've got about 50 pages left - which I'm heading off to finish shortly - and then I'll be along to post my thoughts.

Who cares about his hair???  The programme was excellent - I love anything about scheming politicans.

I wouldn't say you've overdone it.  Sounds like DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) - just need to push through and keep up the exercise

I haven't written my review proper yet, but wanted to say here that I loved it.  Filer has written a gem of a book. My only niggle was that sometimes I struggled to work out where in the timeline we were!
