I'm not into kids' books or graphic novels, so found the choice really disappointing - the only cookery book I might have fancied, the Mary Berry, I'd already downloaded at a lower price around Christmas...

Finished Gossip by Beth Gutcheon this morning - really enjoyed it, and as soon as I've reviewed it I'll be eligible to request items from Amazon Vine again - phew! Wet and miserable day here, so I've escaped into the new Judy Astley, In The Summertime, obtained for review from Netgalley - it's a really lovely read.

My decision to pick up this book was influenced by Rachel Abbott's prolific tweets urging followers to buy - I finally gave in. But it's the greatest tribute to any writer that having finished it - and "unputdownable" is much overused but truly describes this book ...

Love the look of both of those Penny - I've got a bit out of the cooking habit recently (and M+S and Asda do it so much better...) but these are definitely two I'll be trying on my next long weekend... Thanks for posting!

Finished The Memory of Lost Senses by Judith Kinghorn in bed this morning, then started and finished the wonderful The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer - reviews for both on my blog http://beingannereading.blogspot.co.uk/. Now starting my final outstanding Vine read - Gossip by Beth Gutcheon.
