Finished The Critical Path by DJ Johnson. Remarkable description of how a man copes with being attacked in the tube and his mental recovery process. However some parts were really dragging on. 8/10

Decided to give up on Freedom by JOnathan Franzen. Whoever said it's the work of a genius, well.... maybe but it's booooooring. Read about 2/3 of it and that's enough, just wasted 3 weeks of reading because of it. 5/10.

Death Comes to Pemberley by PD James. What's the point of this book? I'm not a Jane Austen fan to begin with but normally like PD James. Not this one though. Read about 20 pages and gave up.

Ploughing through Freedom by Jonathan Franzen. I really want to love this book but it's resisting my attempts. Very (too?) cleverly written but so slow. About one third done.

No idea what it is but sounds like the beginning of an horror story. Reminds me of a movie where lifts started having a life of their own and there was some slimey living thing hiding behind the lift :)))))
