  • Re: World book night 2013 - has anyone heard if they are a giver??

I got my first choice too, Jo Jo Moyes. This is my first year of giving and I'm going to take my books to work and leave them on the stalls so the traders and customers will pick them up.

  • Re: What hair shampoo do you use?

[quote user="natsplatt"] lol Lisa, I'm another Avon user, I use their anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner!  Brill stuff!  I do have to condition it every time I wash it, but only wash my hair once a week!  (I read somewhere that it's better for curly hair to only wash infrequently, so tried it, and it's true!! ...

  • Re: What hair shampoo do you use?

I wash my hair every day and I use Avon's colour care shampoo and a leave in conditioner, also by Avon. I always just comb it with a detangling comb and leave it to dry naturally. • Re: SNOW news

It must have started shortly after, because when I looked out again at 11.30 it was completely white! It snowed till around 4pm. The wind was getting stronger though and it was lovely to watch the snow being blown from the trees. It ...

  • Re: Craft thread

[quote user="Beadyjan"] One of my New Years resolutions was to learn to crochet - the art of crochet has eluded me for 56 years. I have a crochet class lined up starting mid February but I wanted to get cracking sooner than that, I had a few odd balls of wool and a couple of crochet hooks I picked up ages ago, so I began watching how to ...
