Susan Hill for horror type books? Sadie Jones? She has a kind of classic feel and The Uninvited Guests is sort of horror - soft-horror? Perhaps Kate Morton - again she does a good past/present story with a hint of mystery in and The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield might be up your street.

I remember having blankets - creamy white with pink stripes at the top and yellow ones and a knitted multi coloured one on top. The sheets were stripy - candy striped? I was very young though and I remember getting quilts that had a pattern - mine was pink floral, my brothers had blue or green ones and they didn't have seperate ...

I was always nervous of using a sleeping bag but I think they were fairly new when I had my first few babies but I know they are very popular now. They do keep baby warm - they can't kick off blankets - but that was one reason I was nervous as I feared they'd overheat - now I am older I think I'd be more comfortable using one - on a ...

I change my own bedding weekly and the kids fortnightly - sometimes on rotation - boys one week, girls the next, but as my eldest is getting smellier (though he does shower!) Forever Amber is rather long too and I aim to read Wolf Hall and Anna Karenina shortly - also on Kindle.

Adored this one and then there was the one about time travel which was a bit far out but still kind of interesting in a ...

I did watch it - I had the TV all to myself that night - which almost never happens!! I really enjoyed it, fab cast. Good to see 'John Stape' has managed a successful return from the dead and hasn't been typecast! I almost didn't recognise Larry Lamb though.

I remember quite enjoying this but blowed if I can remember that much about the story! It all runs together with Property and other similar books!
