I'm 41 years old, married to Phil and we have two girls of 8 years and 2 years old. I'm originally from Kent but moved to Nottingham over 20 years ago. I have worked for 10 years as a freshwater ecologist (that means I 'look after' the local rivers and monitor for pollution etc..) I love my books but my next favourite passion is finding great bargains! I love trawling the charity shops and bootfairs. I also enjoy going to concerts & theatre, playing with the kids and singing loudly when no-one else is in !
