How it works:
1. At the end of each year we ask for volunteers to make selections to choose from for each month of the year and a timetable is drawn up.
2. Each month, in line with the timetable, the person providing the selection lists the suggested books with a synopsis and starts a poll.
3. The "winning" book is announced and anyone wishing to join in reads the book and adds their comments to the discussion thread.

Who can join in:
Anyone!

It's very informal so if we have chosen a book you would like to read then feel free to join in at the time and add your comments to the discussion. If you have read the chosen book in the past you can also join in and add your comments to the discussion. Likewise, if you find yourself reading a book that we have already discussed you can add to the discussion thread at any time.
Don't worry about "signing up" just join in as and when you feel like it.  If we have chosen a book you don't fancy, there's absolutely no pressure to read it.

Also, if you do join in with any of the reads but find you don't like the book,  don't be afraid to say so in the discussion.  Sometimes the "why I didn't like this book" comments can lead to a more interesting discussion.
