I have not read Jackie Collins books - Shirley Conran, Andrea Newman, some of Jilly Coopers (I think), Sally-Anne Robinson are some that come to mind
Currently reading - Animal Instincts by Alan Titmarsh (started 23/11/2008)

I used to devour Jackie Collins when I was in my early teens and late twenties, but I've not read any of her stuff for years. However, I have recently discovered Tasmina Perry and have read both Daddy's Girls and Guilty Secrets. They were both great reads and very similar to Jackie Collins - lots of glitz and glamour and a bit of raunch too. If she hasnt read any Shirley Conran (Lace etc) or Judith Krantz (Princess Daisy etc), I would suggest those too. They are oldies but goodies. Good luck with the search

Some of the early Susan Lewis books can be a bit raunchy, I've not read a Jackie Collins so don't really know how they compare

Re: any one read jackie collins or *** romance ?
I once read "the World is full of married men" by Jackie Collins. It was a copy my parents had when they were book club people in the 1960's/1970's. Was a bit raunchy to my rather naive self. Then I bought a copy of " A bouquet of barbed wire" with some tokens that I had collected from Lyons cakes boxes ( I'm not making this up) which my mother wrote a cheque out for. The series had just been on telly or maybe not quite had hit the screens because I think once Mother knew the content of the story she would have never had anything to do with it.
Currently reading -" Not buying it" Judith Levine and "Affluenza", Oliver James Classic of the month (still) "Murder at the Vicarage", Agatha Christie

Some of the earlier Louise Bagshawe novels can be a bit raunchy too but I've not read any of the later ones but they're good anyway - it's not just all s*x, there are actually plots to them. I loved Jackie Collins' books and then there's always Jilly Cooper too if she hasn't already read those.

I have read Married Lovers by Jackie Collins, only because I have read everything that Jackie Collins has written, but I admit that these books are just not the same now as back in the "olden days". Its probably because Im older. I have also read Tasmina Perry's guilty secrets and would like to read the other 2 novels that she has written. Guilty Secrets was really good, I enjoy all that glitz, glamour and sex, takes me out of my rather surburban life. I would also like to read Tan Lines, but I have about 6 books to read. Just finished Olivia Goldsmith's Bestseller which I also really enjoyed.

I was going to say Louise Bagshawe as well, her books are really good. I would also recommend Sandra Brown and maybe Sharon Sala

I think Lesley Pearse is another who has raunchy parts in her books too. So far I've only read Camellia and Tara but both of them were like that. Although the raunchiest book I have ever read is 'A Woman of her Time' by Caroline Gray I would go so far as to say it borders on pornography.
