    Whenever you're ready nominate your favourite read from the month of September for a chance for it to go into December's shortlist for best RiSi Read 2008.

    Please check the updated list at the end of the  December 2008 Shortlist thread (http://forums.readitswapit.co.uk/forums/p/26925/395055.aspx#395055) As any books already on the list aren't eligible for another poll this year.

    I should have nominated this last month but forgot!  So I'll put it forward for this month - The Gargoyle, by Andrew Davidson.

    Just read The New York Trilogy, by Paul Auster, and absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend!

    I didn't nominate last month so have a backlog - one for this month and one for next then!

    I really want to read The Gargoyle now. It's really highly rated on Amazon too. Sounds dark... just like I like em. ;)

     I am another for The Gargoyle I really enjoyed this book even though at first I just couldn't seem to get into it and nearly give up.So glad I didn't.
