Have only read The Playground Mafia and have to say it was disappointing, it was one of those books where you feel like you are slowly sinking in mud and not getting anywhere fast.  Her other,The Battle for Big School was the same, yawn...imo, of course, I hope you enjoy it more, don't want to put you off!

    Agree on both these points!

I used to do a montly book queue but then something would upset the order so I gave up that routine and now I pick books on a whim

I've only read Hapless Househusband and I thought it was really funny. He has a new one due out and I cant wait to get my hands on it.

I choose my books to read for the month too as I'm so indecisive that if I didn't I'd never get round to reading anything!  If I finish the pile before the end of the month then I just pick another one, which always takes forever!!  I can manage a book a week so I'll choose 6 books, one for each week and then a spare!  Going to have to choose August's tonightBig Smile

I read Deja Dead too a while ago and it was OK - wanted to like it more than I actually did.
