The House of Sand and Fog, by Andre Dubus III......where do I go from here?

This was a fantastic book, and I have discovered that he has not got another novel - any suggestions what I should read next as this was an excellent novel?

This was one of my reading group's choices a few years ago and I really enjoyed it too.  Books we've since read that are reasonably similar in style are Bel Canto (Ann Patchett) and The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini) - I think you'd probably enjoy both of these if you haven't already read them.

PS - welcome to the forums, Susan!  I'm sure you'll find plenty of other great reads in the review and book chat sections (I know I have...!)

He has another book - The Bluesman - I've got it on my Wishlist but so far no luck!

Well written, but I found it oh, so depressing.

I thought this book was excellent, the film is very good too if you haven't seen it.

Only yesterday I read a review of his new book "The Garden Of Last Days". Great review, I'll certainly be looking out for it.
