I am reading War and Peace at the mo, alongside another, but also have A Suitable Boy, just got The Witching Hour - Anne Rice through the post the other day which is also around 1200 pages. But I think the longest I have read so far is The Crimson Petal and the White which is around 1000 pages I think

Shogun, which was over 1000 pages.  Also some of Edward Rutherfurd's books were over 1000 pages, but can't remember if they were London, Dublin, Sarum or Russka (or even all).  I really like the long books and always feel sorry when I have come to the end.

I'm not really sure but suitable candidates would be some of Stephen Kings books, which even in paperback are whoppers. I think IT was over 1000 pages in paperback (and really small type too!).
