Loved The Amber Spyglass - best of the 3
All James Patterson are good, quick, easy reads. Most of these I believe were ones who did by himself, before he started subbing out the work to other writers
Harlan Coben - Promise Me - enjoyed, but unremarkable in the sense that can't recall it a year later
Captain Corelli's Mandolin - fantastic book
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian - brilliant, hysterical, but poignant
A Wedding in December - not the best book from her
The Shakespeare Secret - on my TBR
Next - Michael Crichton - excellent read - very thought-provoking & scary from a 'could this happen' point of view
Khaled Hosseini - A Thousand Splendid Suns - read it last week. My fave book this year by a mile. Read it, read it, read it!!
Jane Green - Spellbound - like all of hers, but this was one of the better ones.
