Just wondered if anyone had any books missing off their archives since the update on 25th June. Meaning the amount you had archived on your Kindle to what it says on your Amazon account.

I haven't checked my Amazon Kindle account recently but all the downloads are appearing on the Kindle as they should.  I've got the older keyboard Kindle so maybe I'm not affected anyway by an update???

Rumour was that it was only meant to be adding it to the Kindle Touch, but they seemed to add it to the Kindle 4. I've notified Amazon of my problem and awaiting info bu Wednesday, otherwise it's a new Kindle for me and I've only had mine 6 months 

Try a reset, Fiona - that's the restart where you hold the "off" button for a count of 20-30 seconds, up to the point where the screen goes blank, then flashes and starts to reload.  Leave it for a few minutes while it reboots (just like a computer) and you should find your archive books have all come back.  If not, though, you should still be able to re-download them via Manage Your Kindle on your computer.

I can still download what's on my Manage My Kindle Penny, just that it usually tells me how many I have on my Archived list. The bloke got me to set it back to Factory settings and it still never worked.
