Some good choices there. I loved "The Art Of Racing In The Rain", completely not what I expected it to be.

That's an interesting list Sarah.   I'm determined that I'm going to either find a reading group or start one next year.

I loved Room and The Book Thief and have a couple of the others on TBR

I reviewed Dreaming In Hindi for Newbooks Magazine.  Didn't think much of it, to be honest.

I've read The Book Thief and Room, and have Racing Un The Rain on my TBR.  I absolutely adored the Hunger Games when I read it last month and can't wait for the movie. It shot into my top reads of 2011 list.

Room is in my TBR's and Henrietta Lacks was my best book of 2011 Harrowing but un-put downable

    Don't know the others.

Here's a peek at my reading groups choices for Jan-Mar

Jan    The Savage Garden by Mark Mills

Feb   Shadows in the Street  by Susan Hill

Mar   Teacher Man  by Frank McCourt

Hopefully we will be able to sort out the rest of the year at our Feb meeting - not enough members at Jan meeting, I do like as many as possible to have some input.
