ive just seen in the back of shopaholic and sister that sophie kinsella writes also under the name madeline wickham. are these any good? i so enjoy her writing as sophie kinsella. tru x

 I have read all the shop ones but haven't read an MW ones......

I've read Madeline Wickham and have enjoyed her books - I'd probably describe them as 'grown up' chicklit - if that makes any sense!!

I've never read her books as Sophie Kinsella so don't know what they're like

 

I love her writing as Madeline Wickham but they are so not like her Sophie Kinsella Books.....

 I've read all her books - and actually prefer the Madeleine Wickham ones - they are more grown up and as Fi says, very different to her Sophie Kinsella stuff

I've only read The Wedding Girl, it was good but I prefer the Sophie Kinsella ones

I've only read Cocktails for Three (two more on TBR) but really enjoyed it - grown-up chicklit is a really good description.  But I really don't like her writing as Sophie Kinsella.

 I absolutely love the Sophie Kinsella books and have read one Madeline Wickham novel and liked that too although I'd never have guessed they were the same person if I hadn't known!

I have read couple of MW and I enjoyed them. Like others say, they are more grown up chick lit. But I did really enjoy her SK books as well, I have read them all except the newest one.

I have read Cocktails For Three & Sleeping Arrangements by her and have others on my TBR pile. She is terrific as well xx

Petra, if u look at my enormous TBR pile hun, u can borrow any of the others I have to read of her if u fancy them hun. Or I can read them and swap with u at some stage xxx

Hi hun, I can't remember if I read a MW or not, if I did it was a long time ago! I have actually just agreed a swap for Cocktails For Three as I'd like to give one a go. I've read all the Shopaholic series this year by which I enjoyed but I've heard that the MW ones are very different.
