A Season In The Sun by julie Gregson is a really enjoyable book. All of us in our reading group loved reading it Which is really unusual because we have such diverse tastes.

From the opening sentences you are drawn straight in to the story and stays that way throughout the book. I would love to know what other readers think of this.

At present I am reading Dirk Bogarde's letters It is a wonderful read . At one time I would never have not even looked in the general direction of a book of letters, but  this man was a born writer.

I just checked fantasticfiction and she's only written two books The Water Horse and the R&J book East of the Sun, so that must be it.

yes that's the right title, It's a few months since I've read it, the cover is very colourful too with a lovely peacock on the front.

 I agree - I loved it.  Once you started to read it you just couldn't put it down - that's a sign of a good book
