Not Safe After Dark by Peter Robinson. He's an excellent short story writer and hopefully will write some more soon!

 Hannah Tinti's Animal Crackers is a collection of short stories - some are a little 'odd' but entertaining.

 If you like chick lit there's a book a stories called Boys Night In/Girls Night Out that have a lot o stories by well known authors - half the book is written by male authors and the other half women.  It's very good.  I might have that kicking around somewhere!!
