In case you had not caught previous posts on this subject, I usually pull forward about 6 books from my TBR mountain, and try to plough through them.... always thwarted, of course, by chairty shops who always seem to have something I want, or Amazon, ditto, or Postscript, ditto etc etc !!!
Anyway, here we go again, let's see how many of these I can clear in August!
Sandy Toksvig - Flying under Bridges
Philip Hook - The Soldier in the Wheatfield
Louise Arnold - The Invisible Friend
James Runcie - The Colour of Heaven
Hester Brown - The Little Lady Agency
Barbara Wilson - Gaudi Afternoon
I had these all ready to go, then on Saturday went out for afternoon tea to a lovely teashop in a village in the middle of nowhere that has a bookcase full of second hand books
..... and found a non-fiction treasure Annie Hawes - Extra Virgin. I even have the bookmark in it ready to go, and then remembered that I was going to read Kazuo Ishigo - Never let me go. So, dilemma!
HELP! which shall I read first?
Extra Virgin or Never Let me Go.
