A baby of their own - Gill Sanderson (My first ever review)

One of many books written by Gill sanderson follows two doctors from completely different countries but both with the same aim in life, to become the best doctor they can and help people. When their lifes cross it brings love, hurt and many memories back for both of the doctors. Carly, a strong and experienced doctor whos life revolves around being a doctor meets Alex, a man with only one thing on his mind : Working in his home town and being the best doctor he can. Even though they have one strong aim in common Carly starts to realise Alex is a strong man who wont listen to anyone else but himself. Can she try and see past the strong front he puts up? Will he take a interest in any other women after his past?

The book shows the harsh realities of life in certain places of the world, comparing them to a place like England makes the book seem very real and brings you quickly back down to earth. Maybe the end is quite predictable and doesnt take much thinking but for me and maybe you too, a easy read is a great read.

I probably wouldnt rush out to buy more of this author but if l seen the books when just looking l would take a interest.

Im definatly glad l took time to read this book.

Likes - The story line is very emotional and not anywhere near being boring even though it is predictable. I also loved the endding and had tears in my eyes!

Dislike - The way it is written in someways l disliked, Gill's english never seemed to explore very far and use any words but simple ones.

Not my cup of tea as a book I think, but an excellent first review - well done you!
