We tend to kind of do this by accident when someone asks a question! Here's the earlier thread on post-apocalyptic fiction which'll hopefully give you some leads - http://forums.readitswapit.co.uk/forums/p/19239/212861.aspx#212861 Must say that Down to A Sunless sea is one I very much like the look of too...
P.S. And welcome to the RISI forums!

I am looking for recommendations in post apocolyptic novels eg down to a sunless sea, on the beach, planet of the apes etc plus autobiographies
I suppose one of the great post-apocalyptic novels would be 'The Road' by Cormac McCarty - he's had a big resurgence since No Country for Old Men won the Oscar. For my tastes its got to be 'World War Z: an Oral History of the Zombie War' by Max Brooks - absolutely fab. Abaddon books are also currently publishing a whole host of this kind of stuff and I can't praise 'A Canticle for Liebowitz' highl enough - but don't bother with the sequel.

Well, don't wait for me to start - I'm not good at whittling down my choices! I'm still trying to work out what I'd have in my crypt luggage .
I know. I put mine in but I'm still swithering!
