Loads of the books which come up in the library which did have pictures are now showing no picture and even lots in my wishlist which definitely had photos of the covers before now either have a blank oblong with no picture or just a red x in a box. Whats happened?

A lot also aren't bringing up the link to Amazon as before if its not available as a swap even though I can still find the book listed on Amazon if I search.

I've noticed this too - but why some books and not others? Most of the pictures come up so it seems very odd that some don't.

Me too...especially links to Amazon..... 

I wonder if it is to do with the changes to the Amazon layout.  Maybe some of the links between Risi and Amazon have been corrupted.

I have also noticed that I never get a wishlist email notification for The Forgotten Garden, even when copies are still listed when the emails go out.  I've tried re-adding it to my Wishlist directly from the link under a listed copy, and still nothing.  Very strange (and a warning not to rely entirely on the notification feature). 

I have had the "red cross" pictures for about three weeks now but strangely it is not always the same book. For example on my wishlist the books with the red cross change everyday! Also when I added a book at the weekend it came up with a red cross so I used the feature to find another cover and it was ok

Same here !

Not many books on my wishlist have pics.
I find it quite annoying and looks kinda boring without them

Ruth spotted this a few weeks ago and I emailed admin about it, Neil hadn't altered anything on the site and Donna thought it was probably something to do with Amazon. They are aware of the problem though.

Neil is looking into this. It's not an easy thing to fix, sadly. It's a problem at Amazon's end, and they supply the photos unfortunately. But Neil says he will try to fix it as soon as he can. Thanks to everyone for your patience!

Hi all.

I've (finally) got a fix for the missing book iamges problem. I'm running something which is fixing them at the moment, but will take 4-5 days for all of the images to be fixed -- you should start to see improvements over the next couple of days though.
