I don't think you're doing anything wrong at all Rita as I get the same result.  I assume that either the person you're thinking of has taken it off their wishlist, or there's something wrong with the way they've entered it on their wishlist.  If you PM me the details of who it is you're thinking of, I can investigate a bit further if you like.

Did you add this book to your wishlist recently? How about the other person? Google doesn't actually search the pages that exist now, it searches it's cache of the pages, which will be from a few days ago (I think). It's not 100% reliable for this reason. I've had wishlists come up that don't have the book on them anymore in some searches.

As someone pointed out earlier on this thread, this must be because of the timing of the Google caches - presumably since the last cache was done, the swapper has managed to get the book after all.   I've no idea how often Google caches stuff from this site - apparently the caching frequency varies from site to site, and is anything from daily to weekly or even less often.  Unfortunately, I've no idea whether we can check it from our end, or if we can, how to go about it!

I noticed this too.  However if you scroll to the bottom of the google searches it should say:

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 1 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

...and if you click on the "repeat search with omitted results included" link you should get ALL users with that book on their wishlists (barring caching issues mentioned above).

Top marks to foreternity for coming up with this!

I've never tried this before but have just now and there were no results for Diary of a Jet Setting Call Girl. Is it true that this new book isn't on anyone's wishlist?

As I think is mentioned earlier on this thread, the search is based on Google's snapshot which could have been a while ago so if this book is very newly published it may well be that it wasn't on a wishlist at the time the snapshot was taken.

I always add books I really want to my wishlist as soon as they're available to pre-order on Amazon and this book is 3rd in a series. It was released a month or so ago, I think. I was so pleased to see it in a charity shop 2 weeks ago and I thought it would be really popular on here.
