To save our guest authors the hassle of having to set up a RISI account for themselves in order to be able to conduct the author chats, I have created an account with the user name Author which we can use for all future chats. 

All the organiser of the chat will need to do is email the guest author the email and password details for the account (available by PMing one of the mods - for obvious reasons I don't want to publicise the details on here). 

The only slight drawback of this is that each writer will appear under the name Author, but their own name will appear in the post titles, and we can use a photo of each author as their avatar for the duration of the chat.  However, it should make it much easier for our guest authors to get on the site, especially for those who live outside the UK and don't have a UK postal address to set up their own account. 

Finally, I'd just like to emphasise this is a ghost account, created solely to make things a bit easier for our visiting authors.  Please don't send PMs to the account as they are unlikely to be answered!!
