    Online postage question

Hi, for those of you have bought postage online, when it gives you the opportunity to print bottom and top left and right, so you can get 4 to a page, how and when do you print?  I ended up having to print them all separately on different sheets. Surely they don't expect you to print one, put the paper back in the printer, remembering which way it's going to come out for bottom left and so on?  Any ideas?

Thats what I do - just put it back in each time.  I just go from top left to top right to bottom left to bottom right - anal I know but it makes it easier for me to remember!

Sorry can't really offer anything constructive because I tend to get my swaps packaged and posted as soon as they come in therefore I usually only have one at a time to print.  I cut out the size I want (sometimes fold over and use double thickness paper to cover heavy marker pen on a used jiffy bag) and just keep the paper scraps for notes - and trying to work out my book names anagrams

If you have just done top left then the next one is top right followed by bottom left and then right.

It doesn't matter if you have to keep putting the paper back in,,just practice.

You can print as often as you like to get it right,I always use RM sticky labels and you can see which one is next.

I'm another one that just takes the paper in and out - it does always seem slightly silly though that you can't just do 4 and print them at once!

I agree but it doesn't really show you how to do it does it ?   I do one at a time anyway so as not to get confused and send the wrong book !

This annoys me too but there doesn't seem to be any way of getting it to store one label while you add another to the print sheet.  I do as the others do - if I'm using sticky labels I print in order, putting the sheet back every time.   It doesn't take much longer but it would be very much easier if you could just keep adding labels to the sheet and print them all at once - I've no idea why they've done it this way. I too keep refeeding the paper through. Think I might opt for labels, as I seem to waste quite a bit of paper-tempremental printer at times doesn't seem to like the paper being fed through a second time.Perhaps we should ask RM and see if they can alter the system?

I also keep re-feeding the paper.  One time when on Royalmail, I got one of those survey requests, so I mentioned this as an issue - suggest others do the same if they get the chance!
