Really weird - I got yours but I'm not getting any from my other threads!!

I can't even pretend I understand what's happening here!  However, just one small thought - have you checked the subscription status at the top of the threads you're interested in?  If you want to get emails, the bar just to the right of the stars should show "Email Subscription Enabled".  If it says Email Subscription Disabled, then click on it and you should hopefully get the emails. 

 Mine was enabled already so don't understand it !

I did try enabling subscription forums for Chat etc; but then you get everything ! 

i dont know if its just me but once you get on site things seem to take longer to load mostly reply page and sometimes different things freeze the whole site and have to log of to make it work again.

Sometimes mine freezes and a microsoft message comes up saying it has to close. Seems to be a flashplayer problem, in my case anyway.

I'm so pleased, my toolbar has been working all day now, except for smilies. Of course it can always choose to disappear again, but so far so good!

Now your post came through Penny but the ones that came after didn't!! That's what's so strange, it seems so random

I think the server that sends out the RISI emails is on a go-slow today.  I got a swap request at lunchtime and still haven't had the email about it.  Perhaps it's Irish and is out celebrating?!

 Am I having a senior moment re the number of posts displayed on left pic when you are in a thread. I though it was 400 something and now its 200 something.

Do you mean the number of posts you've made, as shown under your avatar?  If so, I don't think there's anything wrong with them - mine looks about right .

I have now lost all the smileys on my Options tab when I write a new post.  They're still there on my toolbar in the body of the post, but I can't insert one into the title.  Is this just me???

Sorry I forgot to mention this -- I removed the option to add smilies to the title to try and resolve some of the problems we were having with the "Write Post" page not loading correctly (all the smilies load up each time the page is loaded, even if you don't want to insert any).

I'm in the same position as Shirley - except that I occasionally get a post come through. Ironically enough her post came through to me this morning!! At first I wasn't geting them then the situation seemed to right itself but now they're not coming through again - apart from the odd random one. I've checked that everything is ticked so that I should be getting emails

I am getting emails about swaps though.....

Please can admin have a look at this?? Know you're busy, but it's REALLY frustrating!!!

I've spent some time looking at the email set-up and everything seems to be ok.It's often very difficult to figure out what's going on with stray emails though, as it could be a problem on our side, or in your ISP, or anywhere in between in fact!

If you PM me your email address I'll have a look and see if I can figure out what's going on.

Ah yes, forgot to mention, if you are having problems receiving emails you may want to consider using a different email service. For example, GMail (http://www.gmail.com) offer a free email service, and I've never had any problems receiving RISI emails there.
