Gave up on OUT, just wasn't my thing. Have now started what I hope is a nice easy read (because I'm feeling poorly!) "The School Run" by Sophie King

Just started Land of the Living by Nicci French.  Don't know if I've done the right thing starting it before I go to bed as I read the posts about the books that have scared you the most and this got quite a few mentions. 

Well, I did try with The Unnumbered - 75 pages, but I just wasn't in the mood for homeless itinerant Rumanian migrants really, and flicking through the book it was just lots more of the same! Going to move on to Margaret Forster's Over instead (like several others recently it seems...).

Reading Affluenza by Oliver James. It's all about consumerism ruining societies. Think I might need something lighter and easier to read for when my other half is watching TV. Some chick lit or perhaps a good detective novel.  The Good Husband of Zebra Drive by Alexander McCall Smith will very possibly be a front-runner

Finished Maximum Ride - The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. This was written for teenagers and is an excellent read.

Started Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult.

Finished e-Luv: An Internet Romance by Dave Roberts and started Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.

I finsihed Angl's Flight and have started Zelda's Cut by Phillipa Gregory.

I finished Charade by Sandra Brown last night, was an excellent read and will definately be reading more of her books. This morning I started Outsider by Diana Palmer

I just finished Last Tango in Aberystwyth, gobbled up the last few chapters on the train this morning. Am going to give the series a break and read Quartered Safe Out Here, a war memoir by George McDonald Fraser which arrived from Amazon yesterday and which I've been wanting to read for ages.
