    Re: Time Travellers Wife (clarification)

From what I gathered he was hiding naked and they were hunting when a deer or somethin with a white tail that got close to him and he was shot by accident,
I just finished it 4 books ago, I really liked it

Yes, I don't think they shot him on purpose.

It's so rare I cry at books but I cried my eyes out at the end, especially when she got to see him one last time!

I didn't know it was made into a film though!! I am so excited for that!  Hope they don't ruin thid amazing book.

Yes, I thought that it all might end 'happily ever after' too, but I suppose the fact that it didn't made it a better book.  The hints were there throughout as to what would happen, but I couldn't help thinking that it wouldn't even so!

    Re: Time Travellers Wife (clarification)

I'm so glad there's a post on this book. It's one of my absolute favourites of all time. I fell in love with Henry and Claire and couldn't put it down. I was dreading finishing it because I loved every minute of reading about them. I even cried at the end. [:'(]

I always assumed it was Claire's father/brother who'd shot Henry because the timeline seems to fit together in that way.

As much as I think the film will never live up to the book, I really like Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams so I *will* go and see it. It's been about a year since I've read the book. Should I just see the film with the book as a memory? Or should I read the book just before I see the film so it will be fresh in my mind? (That could risk me hating the film Tongue Tied).

Currently Reading: To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf & Night Shift by Stephen King.
