300 books!? I'm impressed! I wish I had room for that many books in my house. I doubt I'd have time to read them, though. I think I'm going to write a really good book one day (*cough*trashyteenageflickinvolvinginsecuremaincharactersandfantasycreatures*cough*) and make loads of money from it, so I can stay at home all day and read! Do you think we could get bored of that? Just reading all the time?
The Last Town on Earth - Thomas Mullen I bought this book while on holiday in March and read it in a day. It's wonderful! Not usually the kind of book I'd just pick off a shelf and buy, but it was definitely worth the money. The characters and situations seem so real. I'd highly recommend it.
A Place Called Here - Ahern, Cecelia I was a big fan of Ahern in my earlier teens, so I'm not sure if it's maturity that makes me not like her books as much, or if her quality is dropping. This was a fairly good book, with a very interesting concept, but I didn't see anything truly amazing about it. It had a "fantasy" theme to it but was not as good as 'If You Could See Me Now.' However, it is still a good read.
The Lovers' Room - Steven Carroll I saw this on Amazon and it sounds interesting. On my Want To Read list.
Joanne Harris: Sleep, Pale Sister I saw this in my friend's grandparent's house and it looks interesting. Another Want To Read.
The Abortionist's Daughter - Elisabeth Hyde I'm not sure about this one - it sounds fairly intriguing from the backcover, but it has a rating of three on Amazon, and doesn't seem to be as good as it sounds. I may consider reading it.
Sushi for Beginners - Marian Keyes Out of all the Keyes books I've read, I think this was the most enjoyable. I remember, however, that there was one character who just really annoyed me, and that there was too much sex in it for a book of that size.
Angels - Marian Keyes I really didn't like this one. It started out quite interesting, but there was one incident where the main character went off and did something, and then didn't really reference it again, and I was like "What was the point in it?" It didn't seem realistic at all. However, I can't really comment on it without spoiling the book. It just wasn't as funny as her other novels, and some of the incidents in the book didn't seem realistic.
Watermelon - Marian Keyes I don't remember much about this one, but it was better than Angels, but not quite as good as Sushi.
The House at Riverton - Kate Morton This one is on everyone's TBR pile! I want to read it as well, but need to finish my TBRs before I go looking for it.
