I think you people are brilliant for 'coming out' with your complete TBRs! My spirit quails at the thought - what I have on record is by now the tip of the iceberg. Possibly a two year jail sentence with access to all my tbr books might help - as long as there was nobody else in the cell and no mailbags to sew - but on the other hand probably it wouldn't!

I have to confess that my own TBR of 50 is very short compared to what it should be. I am between houses this year and all my things are in storage, including 800 books!! I haven't read at least 200 of them....

There will be a big RISI binge once I move,,, not for another year or so as it turns out now!

I'm so glad you got Carter Beats the Devil - I do hope it lives up to the hype :q5:.  You must let us know what you think when you've read it.

Possibly in this case by having one partner who writes a lot, and one who writes occasionally.  Glen David Gold produced Carter, his first book, in 2001 and I am still feverishly awaiting his second tome.  It was supposed to be out a year ago - now Amazon is listing it for early next year.  It had better be blinking good when it finally hits the shelves - I've never known such frustration :q11:

Ooops.  I only added to this the other day and now there's 6 more.  2 from swaps and the others from charity shops.  I blame my BF - he insisted on going round the charity shops on Saturday morning to get himself some holiday reads and I had to keep him company!

What a list! Just done mine and I have 67 and I thought that was big!

I can recommend Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination, especially as a holiday read. I really enjoyed it, and Cause Celeb, more than the Bridget Joneses.

BTW love the avatar, but it hypnotises me as much as it does poor old Puss!
