I just finished Prisoner of the Turnip Heads by George Wright-Nooth at lunchtime. A pretty harrowing account of his time as a PoW of the Japanese after the fall of Hong Kong during WW2, it's a scary story, one that brutally illustrates mans inhumanity to man, but also illustrates the courage and incredible spirit of those who did survive.
Not sure what I'm going to read next, something light maybe. My reading over the past few days has been quite heavy!
