    Finding a book group

    To find a book group in your area, try this site:

     www.readinggroups.peoplesnetwork.gov.uk/

    Just put in a post code and away you go....

    thanks gina - this is really helpful. just a shame the one listed in bridlington is when i'm working - i thought there was one on a friday afternoon at the central library but this is not listed? is it best to contact your local library incase its not listed here?
    having a break to catch up with things but see jennyian - x

    Jenni, I would definitely try your local library as well - there are lots of groups that aren't on this list, and even if they're not run by your library they may well have details.  If I put in my postcode it tells me there are no groups available in this area - well, there are no "official" groups, but plenty of groups run by individuals.  I've been a member of one for 8 years, and know of at least 2 others in the immediate vicinity.
