Snap!! - I was the same - received my first wishlist swap this morning (and still hopeful of getting it!!)

Sorry you didn't get your book penny - but as long as you leave it on your wishlist you will get an e-mail each time it becomes available for swapping - and this is such a wonderful idea!!

Thanks Cathy!  It's ridiculous that I even have a wishlist as I have so many books already, but I do still love the thrill of getting a swap... and if I've learned one thing on this site in the past year or so, it's that everything comes round eventually, so I'll definitely get another chance.

I got a notification yesterday and asked for swap immediately which has been accepted. Oh Happy Days, what a good addition to the site the wishlist is.

I am same as others though, do I really need any more books, of course I do.

I honestly think this is a fantastic function and it does work, however on my wishlist is Winter`s Heart by Robert Jordan and when I click on find swapper nothing shows on RISI. If I go to the Library and using Author find all books by Robert Jordan there are 5 copies of the book listed.

Perhaps the one on your wishlist is a different edition, with a different ISBN number???

Brilliant news!  Even if we don;t get them through RISI it is somewhere tangible to put a wishlist so we don't forget which books we'd like to read!

I received my first notification from my wishlist when I switched on this morning. I have requested the book and am waiting for a reply. This is a great addition to an already wonderful site.

Could you make a feature so that when you search for a book, it searches the member who has the book's wishlist for books you own so they are more likely to swap
