I'm in Watford but I don't really drive so probably wouldn't be able to join in...let me know the details if you do set one up though (just in case!).

Hi everyone, I live in Watford too, I think the general idea, is to meet up having previously agreed on a book, and discuss the book, just wanted to put the feelers out to see if it was something peole might be interested in,

YEah Letchworth is a ten minute drive - we can literally drop books around to each others house instead of posting! hehe

I love Davids bookshop in LGC - saw he had had a couple of signed books there but missed out when i went back:(

Yes, David's is a great place for 2nd hand books -- lots of choice and cheap too.  The charity shops here ask phenomenal prices for their books.

Let me know if you are interested in a local book group

I'll have a word with my friend (also Watford), she's a member on here too (heathera) and see if it's something she might be interested in. The trouble is I have a toddler and she has a 2 little ones so it's whether we'll get the time!:q34:

    Hi,

As mummymelly mentioned, I'm in Watford too. (Incidently I'm originally from Hatfield and have lots of friends and family living in WGC and Stevenage!)

I'm potentially interested in joining a local book group. It really depends on the commitment levels required, but I'm sure a monthly meet up wouldn't be too arduous. Let me know if this gets off the ground and if there's enough of us locally to give it a try.

Also I can drive us Melissa so don't worry about that!

    xx
