I'm loved this book, the latest from David Baldacci,......I reckon it really confirms him as one of the best thriller authors around currently. It comes off the back of the bestseller 'The Camel Club' and i really think this will follow it in terms of success......

 

I would really love to put this to the forum and get everyone's thoughts ......On any of Baldacci's work but particularly the Collector's...

 

 

 

Have you read any James Patterson? Is Baldacci similar, as I am looking for different authors to try?  Is the Camel Club, the first in the series, as I know with Pattersons Alex Cross series, the background on the character follows on, so you need to read them in order.

Hmmmmmmm....

 Baldacci is similar to James Patterson in that they both write Thriller's. Baldacci is much more accomplished a writer.

 I obviously don't want to offend anyone...but i find James Patterson slughtly trashy and glossy...although obviously his books are real page turners..I think they lack some of the subtely that Baldacci has with the pen..
