I finished Finding Casey by Jo-Ann Mapson last night, I need to check if I can share my review before I post it on here. I've made a start on On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves

Finished Revelation, the 4th Shardlake book. Not as good as the previous ones for me, still a good read though. Now it's time for some vintage crime - The Mystery Of A Butcher's Shop by Gladys Mitchell, written in 1929.

Finished The Other Half of Me by Morgan McCarthy, which is crying out to be my book of the month. Not so much the plot, just the luminous quality of the writing. Loved it!
Now back to Challenge 2012 with She Painted her Face by Dornford Yates - title not referring to the dewy heroine but to a splendid old warhorse of a Duchess. Series continuing to be splendid escapist fun.

Re: Titles, Tasters & Temptations - August Reading
I finished this lovely book this morning A Little Stranger by Kate Pullinger, a new Author to me 8/10. A very thought provoking book and how many of us couldn't sympathise with the decision that Fran made. I'm going to post a review later.
I then made a start on Gents by Warwick Collins and finished it as well. This is only a very short novella but what a quirky enjoyable story despite the subject matter. I'll be making a start on The Fine Colour of Rust by P.A.O'Reilly later, this book needs to continue on its ML journey.
Mr Grey I don't mind at all if Henry Cavill plays you.

Finished The Boy in the Burning House by Tim Wynne-Jones. Brilliant read. Now started Over the Edge by Jenny Pitman. This one is about horse riding and I believe her first novel.

Finished She Painted Her Face (Dornford Yates) and am now reading A Very Private Gentleman by Martin Booth, set in Italy, which I loved from the first page and I'm now hunting up his other books. It was made into a film; The American, which appears to have little contact with the book and which I've no desire to see.

Started Will You Be There ? by Guillaume Musso last night. Its a nice gentle read so far and just a little reminiscent of TTTW (which I hated) so hoping I can keep with it.

Re: Titles, Tasters & Temptations - August Reading
I started the month with Michael Chabon's Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay and I am still reading it. It is a good book but due to visitors and so much else going on, I am not getting the time to read as much.
