Exit Strategy is a complete change from the Women of the Otherworld series but I loved it and can't wait for the next book. Maybe not what you would expect from her but I'd recommend it to anyone.

I loved Bitten - totally different to what I'd read before.  I have Exit Strategy on my swaps - it's about an ex cop who's now a hitwoman!

    Re: Kelley Armstrong

This series has been recommended to me so many times but i am having trouble getting swaps on stolen and industrial magic, as i take it they have to be read in order or can they be read seperately?

they have to be read in order or it would be a bit confusing.

I love these books. Bitten was a present from my sister and I wasn't sure about it as I didn't read books from this genre at the time but when I started it I was hooked. I have them all up to Personal Demon which I don't think is out in paperback yet.

She has a new book out The Summoning not sure if it part of the series or a seperate one though.

The summoning is the first book in a planned trilogy (the other two aren't out for a while yet). she is calling it the darkest powers trilogy and is aimed at young adults. I'm not sure what its like as I haven't read it yet.

Just finished The Summoning. A good easy read. Interesting story, very different to the woman of the underworld series as its primarily aimed at teenagers but crosses over ok. Its about a 15 year old girl who suddenly develops the ability to see dead people one day and ends up in a group home for children after being diagnosed with having a mental illness.   At the group home she finds all is not what it seems and the truth about her powers
