I finished Rose Hopkins' sweetshop of dreams Jenny Colgan yesterday and loved it. Will be starting Memoirs of an imaginary friend next as this is also promised to someone.

I'm finishing off my last June read and hopefully I might find some time later to finish it. It's a George Orwell book that I've enjoyed but has taken me a while to read as I've got a busy time at the moment and reading is taking a miss.
Mr Grey I don't mind at all if Henry Cavill plays you.

A few minutes ago I finished my last June read The Wandering Falcon.........Jamil Ahmad - a book of short stories linked by the boy/man of the title, Tor Baz (the Black Falcon). Set in the migratory paths of the nomadic people known as known as the Pawindas or foot people of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran, Ahmad conjures vivid pictures of the often bleak and desolate plains, foothills and mountains while offering a snapshot of some of the tribes and their customs. A worthwhile read!
Tossing up between an ML book The Dog Who Wouldn't Be..........Farley Mowatt and The House by the Sea...........Santa Montefiore as my next read.

Finished Gents by Warwick Collins - which despite title and subject was a joy to read!
Next? New Mercies - Sandra Dallas "........He was slouched against the car, arms folded, watching, and he waved me on. "Room over there, on the right. That's where they found em. She was murdered cemetery-dead" ".
